What should you expect…..?
When it comes to your special day, I am very passionate about getting you all the info you need, to make the most informative decision possible. That means not only do I send you an itemised quote including any additional fees and charges for delivery, set up and pack down, but I will also send you a proposal or mood board to better show you what’s going on in my head. This will include images of things you like, flowers I would like to include and examples of what sort of feeling or vibe we will create for you.

All of our wedding and Event quotes are managed through our CRM system so you will automatically be given access to our terms and conditions and get a breakdown of booking fees and when final payments are due. I give you all of this info so you know upfront what to expect when you work with us….
When we chat about your special day I will always be totally honest regarding all the things, flower availability, pricing, what’s going to work in different locations and everything in between. I want to give you all the info, sometimes even whether you want to hear it or not. Yep that’s right, sometimes I have to tell you no…!
This isn’t because I’m a total bitch and want to ruin your dream day, it’s because I won’t promise anything that I can’t deliver. When working with a fresh product, there are so many variables to consider such as growing season, possible transportation issues, price, the weather here in Port Douglas, Cairns and the Atherton Tablelands. So of there’s an item on your dream wedding list that causes some concern, that’s going to need addressing.
So here’s another thing, pricing…. Yep you’ll probably find someone else out there that will give you a better price. That’s totally fine. I’m not here to offer the cheapest pricing. I work out what items I think will give you the best possible bang for your buck and I cost them out according to my specific recipes and costing method. My recipes may well be different to someone else, I know how much product I need to get the overall look needed for each piece. It’s my ideas, experience and design ascetic you are paying for.
This is why I always ask about budget, I want to know where we need to focus your floral spend. If your wish list is going to cost $7000 and you’ve told me your budget is only $5000, I’m going to make suggestions on where to cut back and where to spend. I’m still going to give you all the pricing so you can then decide what’s the best way to move forward, cut back and focus on the key items or possibly think about increasing the overall floral spend.
